The Morning smart pro is the most advanced capsule machine in the world and was designed to get more flavour from coffee capsules.

What is a “brewing recipe” and how does it affect your cup of coffee? Like chefs, expert baristas design brewing recipes to achieve ideal mouthfeel or texture, and flavour from different coffees. Depending on a coffee’s roast profile, light/medium/dark, the barista will program these variables, which are available to you via the Morning app:

1. Brewing ratio: Water quantity in versus liquid coffee quantity out.
2. Water temperature: Lighter roasts require higher brewing temps than darker roasts
3. Pressure profile: This allows the barista to dictated how they wish to apply pressure throughout the shot to target certain flavours. This is particularly useful in specialty coffees that are now readily available in capsule form.
